CDS offers a bespoke individual service reviewing development options for particular sites providing clients with planning constraints and opportunities to assist in decision making, whether that be for individual landowners or assisting acquisitions for large organisations.

Following a thorough review of the site, CDS will work alongside the client and project team to provide support on strategy for next steps in the planning process.

POLICY ADVICE

CDS provides specific planning policy advice to public and private sector clients, reviewing local plans and evidence base to support client decision making and developing site promotional strategies.

Research &
Evidence Base

Review housing and economic data through the Councils evidence to secure a full and proper understanding of current issues that could be material issues in site strategy and promotion.

Local Plan Representation

Reviewing evidence and preparing written statements to support the position of client requirements

Section 106 &
Affordable Housing

Reviewing policies to support client strategy on scheme design through a developing an exact understanding of section 106, community infrastructure levy and affordable housing policy

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

CDS Planning offers a project management service, whilst acting as lead planning consultant, will project manage and liaise with all necessary wider team members to assist the delivery of a site and ultimately providing exactly what the client requirements are.

Lead Consultant

CDS can act as lead project manager supporting clients seeking to maximise the development of their land and asset.

Strategy & Appointments

Subject to client requirement appoint a design team and sub consultants to assist securing planning consent.

Pre-Construction

CDS offers a service following the grant of planning permission, to help clients discharge planning conditions and legal agreement obligations to help create an oven-ready site for contracting teams.
